How to automatically turn a pallet 180º with full safety?

The question was clear. Our customer needed a compact, sturdy, and hygienic solution to integrate into a grana padano cheese manufacturing process.

Main targets

  • Maturation: to turn the multimould 180º keeping the plastic pallet.
  • Shipping: to turn 180º and to change the pallet from plastic to wood.
  • Gentle turning: the plastic multimould system is not very stable.
  • Safe turning: to reinforce the sides to prevent the product from falling.
  • Construction: robust, compact, and easy to clean.
  • Operation: intuitive, with easy and accessible maintenance.

How does it work?

  • An empty pallet is placed and automatically turned at 180º.
  • A forklift puts the multimould in place.
  • The pallet can be blocked on top after turning.
  • The pallet is turned 180º automatically.
  • The original pallet stays separated at the top.
  • A forklift takes out the multimould with the new pallet.
